A topographical or land survey provides an accurate plan of all natural and man made features of a site.
Typically the survey will include boundary details, buildings and structures, a grid of levels, changes in ground surfaces, tree positions, drainage/service cover positions and street furniture.
Visible features adjacent the site such as buildings or trees can be added along with all underground services, please see our utility survey page for more information.
The survey can be produced at different scales normally as a 2D drawing, 3D surveys can also be undertaken.
Our building surveys provide you with an accurate representation of your building showing all the structural elements and architectural features. These surveys can be carried out on any building.
The level of information shown can be tailored to suit your needs, this can range from the basic layout of walls, windows and doors, through to all fixtures and fittings including electrical sockets, lights and switches. Floor levels, heights and descriptive text are added to give a clear representation.
In addition to floor plans, we can provide cross sections and elevations. A cross section will show section information along a cut line and will contain relevant information required for design purposes.
Elevations are produced using a Reflectorless Total Station. The amount of information shown can vary from basic line work to full architectural detail.
